The highway department is responsible for the construction and maintenance improvements on all roads in the county highway system. The Lincoln County highway system currently consists of 323.25 miles of which 279.25 are asphalt with 44 miles of gravel.  We have 149 bridges throughout the county that the highway department is responsible for.
